What national dishes are worth trying? Is it not quite an experience for our perception?
The Negush cheese and the Negush prshut (dried meat that can be served both as a separate dish or a part of another dish) comprise the honour of the Montenegrin cuisine. If you want to get a better understanding of a national cuisine, you should order the so called “Montenegrin dinner” in a restaurant. You will be given a fine lake carp, Durmitor kajmak and the best cheeses-Negush and Kuch. For an exotic and remembering snack you’d better try delicious sausages- chavappi, made of chopped meat. Local wines will best complement the Montenegrin cuisine.
